India Vision Impairment Adoption: “Patrick” Waits for a Family

About a year ago, we shared about “Patrick, a little guy in India who was born with a missing eye but is otherwise healthy and developing normally.

Cute little “Patrick”, with his huge smile and now 5½-years-old, interacts well with staff and other children and is described as a very good boy.

If you would like to learn more about the process of adopting “Patrick” or other waiting children from India, please signup for our free informational webinar, “Adopting from India” on Wednesday, July 18th from 3:00-3:30 EST.  You can also contact our India team at India@awaa.org or call 800-429-3369.

There are many “older” waiting children with minor special needs over the age of four who are waiting for families. Please pray with us for “Patrick” and share his story as we advocate for him to find his forever family.

This is a shared referral.

Families who are of Indian heritage and have either OCI or NRI status may request to adopt healthy children. However, all foreign families must be open to adopting a child with a medical need, a sibling set or a healthy older child.
