India Program Updates!
Congratulations to the 6 families from our India program who accepted referrals in March! The referrals were for both boys and girls of various ages and with different medical needs.
There continue to be many waiting children in India, of both genders. Some of the common medical needs are: limb differences, heart conditions, vision or hearing impairments, blood conditions such as HIV and thalassemia, healthy children over the age of 8 years, spine conditions and other medical needs.
Orphanages around India continue to strive to register eligible children for domestic (within India) and inter-country adoption. In 2014 there was an increase in the number of children adopted from India to the United States compared with the previous year.
We are excited about the many children that are finding their forever families through our India program. Please join us in prayer for the waiting children in India!
