India Advocacy: Joyful “Paxton” Needs a Family
“Paxton” is a joyful 2 ½-year-old boy with a sweet smile. He is developing normally, but suffers from sickle cell disease. Like his peers, he is able to run, walk up stairs and is speaking in sentences. He plays well with other children and is obedient towards his nannies.
With the medical professionals and therapies available in the United States, symptoms of sickle cell can be controlled and complications prevented.
There are many children with sickle cell disease who are waiting for forever families. Please pray with us for “Paxton” and others like him who are waiting for the care and protection they deserve.
This is a shared referral. For more information on “Paxton” or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.
