Welcome Home from India, Hough Family!
The India Team would like to welcome home the Hough family! They brought Kiaan home in November and it brings us great joy to see another child home with his forever family!
Many days of the adoption journey can seem disheartening or mundane, however, we want to share two moments that make all of the difficulty worth it!
First, read how Angie Hough describes seeing her child for the first time:
I know I’ve heard other adoptive moms say the same thing, but when you see your child for the first/second/third time in pictures and videos….there’s just this overwhelming peace and recognition of the photos. It’s almost as if I’ve always known he’s been our son. Like an “oh, there you are!” moment! It’s such a beautiful thing!!

And the second is captured in the family’s photo. What a miracle when you’re no longer staring at a photo of your child but you are finally holding them in your arms and you are with them in the picture!
