Honduras Program Updates

The Honduras program has seen recent developments with many dossiers receiving registration numbers from IHNFA (Honduras' adoption authority) and numerous other families who have begun their adoption process and who are working on building their dossier. IHNFA continues to seek ways to improve their processing and there have been many positive meetings with our staff in Honduras and IHFNA officials. The total adoption process timeframe and referral wait times continue to be unpredictable due to various factors. Families in the program, or who are considering the program, should continue to keep expectations flexible in regards to adoption completion timeframes.

America World is accepting new applications for this program and prospective clients can contact our staff with questions on the program or process. Current clients will continue to receive regular communication and program updates from their Family Coordinator.
