Home 6 Months from China: Benjamin

This month the Weldon family will celebrate 6 months since bringing their son Benjamin home from China. Benjamin’s mother, Jodi, recently shared that “He loves finding new adventures and figuring out how things work. He likes going on walks and looking for turtles in the pond near their home.”  We love receiving updates and hearing of the adventures that children like Benjamin are experiencing as they grow, learn, and explore. Benjamin has already experienced so much in his first 6 months as a member of the Weldon family.

Our staff at America World always love to hear from our families. We love to rejoice with you in those early months home, smile alongside you when you celebrate your children’s “firsts”, and walk with you through any difficult moments that may arise. Our relationship with your family doesn’t end when your adoption is finalized and you are home, so we’d like to encourage you to send your Family Coordinator updates, stories or exciting moments, as we love to continue cheering your family on in this next phase of being home with your son or daughter.
