Home 18 Months From China: Benjamin
This month the Weldon family celebrates 18 months since bringing their son Benjamin home from China. 18 months of being a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. 18 months of having a forever family.

Benjamin has grown physically, mentally and emotionally in many ways. Benjamin’s mother, Jodi, recently shared,
“I hear all the time from his teachers how Benjamin takes initiative in welcoming new kids, helping clean up and in a large group where all the early childhood kids sing. Benjamin can be found singing at the top of his lungs, doing the hand motions, dancing along and encouraging those around him to sing and dance too”.
We are overjoyed to hear that the Weldon family is in the process of adopting another child from China, and are excited to hear how Benjamin will take on the role of “Big brother”!
Our staff at America World love to hear from our families. We want to celebrate the victories and support you during challenging times. Our relationship with your family doesn’t end when your adoption is finalized and you return home!
