Help Us Send Children in Haiti Back to School
School will be here before we know it here in the U.S., and this is the case in Haiti, too! One of the children’s homes we partner with in Haiti needs help sending their children to school. Students must have uniforms and provide their own books and supplies, and they have to pay tuition. In addition, they need adequate daily nutrition to perform their studies. As you can imagine, these costs can be a significant barrier for children to regularly attend school and receive an education.
Meet Three of the Children Who Need Our Help
Derival is six years old and will begin the second grade. His favorite color is white, and his favorite food is rice and meat. He says he likes school so much; his favorite subjects are math and grammar. He wants to grow up to be an engineer.
Dibalah is five years old. He will be in first grade. His favorite color is purple, and he loves to eat beans, rice, vegetables, and meat. He enjoys coloring and playing hide and seek. When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor.
Johnny is ten, and he is starting 5th grade. His favorite colors are red and yellow; he enjoys science and math. He says he wants to grow up to be a mechanical genius.
The Cost of Education
We currently have 29 children in need of our help. The cost to provide for one child for a month is $105.
This includes:
- Tuition
- Uniforms
- Books
- Supplies
- Food
Would you like to partner with us to help educate and feed these children during the school year? You can provide funds to cover one month or more! Also, a donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated and help us meet our total.

As always, thank you for your generosity and support! Last year, through our generous donors’ help, we outfitted every child and sent them to school! We want to once again see this dream realized for every child.
And if we do raise more than the total needed for education and food, any additional funds will go to other needs (because there are many!), including clean water, septic fixes, basic building maintenance and improvements, and transportation.
