Help us Build Chicken Coops to Feed the Children in Haiti

Haiti adoptionAmerica World is heading to Port-au-Prince, Haiti on Sunday, March 2 â€“ Thursday, March 6. We are looking for a team of both men and women to tackle the project of building a large chicken coop for one of our orphanage partners, Foyer de Sion. This is a big project and we need YOU!

You will be working alongside the older children at Foyer and building relationships with them while you work. You will also be able to spend time with the younger kids. And of course, you will get the chance to stay at the new America World Guesthouse with Aimee and Tim Wilson.

Tim Wilson and Rob Henneberg, AWAA’s Welcoming Angels Hosting Program Director, will be leading the trip. Margaret Hebda, our Haiti Program Family Coordinator, will also be on the trip.

All ages are welcome but get ready to work! This is also a great trip for your teenagers.

This trip is not limited to Haiti program families so please spread the word among your friends, family and church communities.

If you are interested in joining this trip, the deadline to sign up is Friday, February 14, 2014. Please email Michelle Reed and we will send you all the information about the trip.

P.S. It’s a lot warmer in Haiti than where you live!

Michelle Reed, Haiti Program Director
