Haiti Child Sponsorship Opportunities

America World sponsors over 100 children in several different countries. Although the majority of these children have families, they still face very difficult economic conditions. Your gift can support our work in promoting a healthy, stable environment for children in need.

In Haiti, America World has partnered with a local school to sponsor 150 children from a rural farming community outside Port-au-Prince. Each student receives a uniform, two hot meals a day, books, music lessons, and sports activities. The school works hard to ensure that the physical, educational and emotional needs of each child are well met. You can join us in this mission by sponsoring a child at the school. Your monthly gift of $36 will continue the work of the school and fund future care for the children.

As a sponsor, you will receive a picture and short biography of your child. You will have the opportunity to exchange letters and cards with your child, and see their progress in school when you receive report cards. We also encourage families to visit their child in Haiti through an America World sponsored mission trip.
