China Waiting Child Program August Overview
At the end of each month as we look back to review numbers and data, we are reminded of the precious lives each number represents. A child being united with a family is so much more than a number or a process.
We see God working through Storyteller Missions teams, advocacy efforts, each family’s adoption journey, and in turn, see children being united with their families each month. We are encouraged by the movement we see in the program and are reminded of God’s hand over each step of the process.
A total of 27 files were received through our agency partnership orphanages and 6 families accepted referrals in August. Eight families received approvals from the CCCWA and will travel this Fall, and 14 families finalized adoptions in China.
We are thankful for the ways that God continues to bless the China Waiting Child program and for the privilege of seeing children united with their forever families.
