Introducing the America World Podcast: Global Family

It has come with a great deal of prayer and planning, and we are excited to announce our new podcast series, Global Family!

Our goal is to provide a resource for adoptive families and those considering adoption. A resource that is real, honest, and helpful.

The idea was born out of the need to better understand the full scope of adoption, not just the beauty part. Adoption begins with pain and trauma and this can carry through the child’s life and into the adoptive family. Our guests bring their expertise to provide families with practical help and hope.

We will also discuss topics for families who are considering adoption and offer practical tips and advice for those just starting out on this amazing journey!

Our host is Jack Hawkins, a husband, a father, and a pastor in San Diego.  Jack and his wife, Jilane, adopted their daughter from Haiti through America World.  As Jack mentions in the podcast, this is ‘his personal support group’ and we think you will enjoy sitting in with Jack and his guests!
