China Waiting Child: Meet “Galvis”

Galvis is a sweet little boy. As you can see from his photos, he loves to smile and brings a smile to those he is around.

He has big brown eyes. His caregivers have commented that they think he has lovely eyes. His file notes that he is very cooperative with his nannies and likes to play with toys with his caregiver.

Due to his medical needs, he has been under the care of New Hope Foundation and after his most recent procedure in May of 2018, he was transferred to their Beijing home. Under their care, he receives wonderful one on one attention to help meet his needs.

Galvis has been diagnosed with scoliosis and has had surgery for spina bifida and hydrocephalus. We are currently working to obtain updates, as his file does not have updated information on his current level of development since the age of 7 months old.
