Freddie’s Wish: A Forever Family
Freddie is a 5-1/2 year old little boy still waiting to be matched with his forever family. Since arriving at the America World transition home, Freddie has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, porencephalic cyst, total corpus callosum agenesis, and optic nerve hypoplasia.
We believe that, like all of the other waiting children, God has a plan for Freddie and that plan includes a family of his own–a mom and a dad to love him. Please continue to share Freddie's story with others and pray daily for him to find his family.
Recently an America World Storyteller Missions team visited Freddie and shared this:
“Freddie loves to smile and laugh! Whenever I would begin massaging his legs, he would begin to sing by opening his mouth and going “Oooh, oooh.” It would make everyone laugh. He is also very ticklish and laughs and laughs when you rub his back just right. I also played music for him and he would turn his head towards the music and listen intently. Freddie is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle in laps.“
Our Ethiopia staff would love to share more about Freddie with any family interested in making him a part of their family. Contact them at WaitingChildren@awaa.org or call 800-429-3369. Families can also fill out a free pre-application to see what country/program they qualify for, or fill out a full application to begin the adoption process.
