“Flint” Ages out in January – Your Help Needed
Flint is a happy, extroverted 13-year-old boy who brings joy to all around him! He will age out in January 2020, which means that he will no longer have the opportunity to be adopted.
Please join us in praying for him and that a family would come forward in time for him to be adopted before turning 14 in just 2 months.
He loves to study and read, and masters subject matter quickly. His teachers describe him as a smart child. They often use his homework to help teach and encourage the other children. Flint is also especially gifted with art and music. He plays percussion for the other teachers and students and expressing his feelings through painting.
His paintings are often displayed on the bulletin boards, and he impresses others with his talents in pottery, origami, puzzles, calligraphy, and computer games.
Though his cerebral palsy presents challenges in his ability to jump or run like other children, he is optimistic and well-liked by others. He is able to walk independently (or with assistance) for short distances. He has strong self-management skills, is able to feed, dress, and care for himself independently.
Flint is a very intelligent, creative, talented, and well-rounded young man who loves to help others and would love a family of his own! You can read more about him here.
