Join Adoptions Together for a Dynamic Workshop Led by Lois Ehrmann, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, speaker, clinician and expert on FASD and childhood attachment and trauma!
This conference is for therapists, child welfare professionals, educators and parents who want to learn about this under recognized, complex and pervasive disorder.
You will learn about how to identify symptoms related to distressed attachment, childhood trauma, and FASD, and the intersection of all three. Effective strategies which enhance positive outcomes for adopted/foster/birth children who also have prenatal exposures. Current research relating to the impact of prenatal alcohol and drug exposure on the physical, emotional, cognitive, social and neurological systems or children. Available resources for parents and professionals working and/or living with these children.
