Christmas Camp
America World, in conjunction with Visiting Orphans, is still seeking sponsors for this year’s winter camp. Less than half of the possible forty children have been sponsored so far. Child sponsorship is $125 and will send one Russian orphan to a Christmas-themed camp for a week as well as provide the child with a small Christmas gift. Please make checks payable to “Visiting Orphans†and write “Kostroma ‘o8†in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to: Visiting Orphans, Attn: Ryan Hanlon, 6723 Whittier Avenue, McLean, VA 22101. “Spirit of Adoption” Seminars
Because of the holiday weekend, there will be no seminars conducted this week. Next weekend, November 30th, a seminar will be conducted in Elon, NC and on December 1st, seminars will be held in Brentwood, TN; Atlanta, GA; Lafayette, LA; Miami, FL; Enid, OK and Valdosta, GA. Adoption Fellowship Groups
The Maryland Group will be meeting at Bethany Lutheran Church, 817 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801 on December 1st from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. For more information on this meeting please contact Associate, Dawn Roberts, at 410-742-4954. On December 8th, two Fellowship Groups will be meeting–Atlanta, GA and Humble, TX. Whether you have adopted, are in the process, or are just considering adoption, Adoption Fellowship Groups are open for anyone.
