An Evening of Hope – Michigan
Last night, over 200 people attended the 3rd annual “Evening of Hope” at Kirby Church in Flat Rock, MI. Those attending joined America World staff in celebrating adoption and all that God is doing through the ministry of America World to care for vulnerable children around the world.
The evening’s host & America World CDO, Joe Wilson, invited his daughter Klaire to join him on stage and to share her insight into why this night was so important, and what adoption meant to her. Klaire stated that, “Every child deserves a family” and that “Adoption is not Plan B and is part of God’s plan”.
After an amazing meal, attendees were blessed by music from Jimmy & Kelly Needham. Jimmy is a worship leader at Stonegate Church near Dallas and has several music albums available, while Kelly is a blogger and will be releasing her new book, “Friend-Ish: Reclaiming Real Friendship in a Culture of Confusion“. The Needham’s are an America World family. Their son, Ben, from India, attended and was introduced along with daughters, Lively & Sophia.
Attendees were encouraged to join America World in engaging in orphan care through prayer, financial support, mission trips, adoption, and other projects to care for vulnerable children.
You can donate to America World orphan care projects, join us on a mission trip, pray for us and those we serve or adopt a waiting child!
