Ethiopia Family Empowerment Program

Although America World currently unable to process international adoptions from Ethiopia, the urgent need to protect children remains. Children are still orphaned due to political unrest, disease and extreme poverty.

America World is honored to partner with the local government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to provide monthly support for vulnerable children who are still residing with their biological families. This program allows families to stay intact by helping to fund their most basic needs: food, shelter, clothing, and medication.

Forty dollars. It is not a lot to most of us. Yet this small monthly commitment is life-changing and life-sustaining for our friends who count on this program. We continue to lack consistent support for 20 out of 40 families in the program. Will you challenge others to see this need today?
