Esther Fast for Orphans

Yesterday,
tens of thousands of people gathered outside St. Peter’s Bascilica in the
Vatican chanting “Habemus Papam†– “We have a Popeâ€. I couldn’t help but
wonder if that’s not the same enthusiasm orphaned children feel when they
finally get a “Papaâ€â€”“We have a dad!† 

This
is why we’re organizing a fast: An “Esther fast†for the next three days
(March 15-17) where we seek the LORD and pray for the millions of children who
are growing up without Moms or Dads. However you choose to participate in
this fast, we know that our God is the “Father to the fatherless†and hears all
our prayers on behalf of His children.
