Easter at the Transition Home
Easter is one of the most celebrated holidays in Ethiopia. This week the children watched some of the new Bible series loaned to the Transition Home by a local volunteer. Many of the adults have been preparing to end their stint of fasting. Today the staff and children joined together to celebrate Jesus and His resurrection by a coffee ceremony, beans, Miranda (Ethiopian soda of choice), and feet washing.
After learning about humility, our staff took the time to wash the children’s’ feet to show them how much they care. The children had a great time!
Happy Easter from the Ethiopia Transition Home!
