Waiting Wednesday: Meet Diana
Diana is described as a quiet and lovely 5-year-old little girl. She loves to be held, hugged, and engaged by her caregivers. She is shy by nature and most enjoys toys with loud noises and bright colors and playing independently. Diana has epilepsy, which is controlled by medicines, as well as high muscle tension, which has resulted in motor delays and difficulty swallowing. She receives messages and therapy for her muscles and has made progress with eating. Though meals can take her some time, she is now able to eat a variety of foods, including rice, eggs, noodles, and a variety of vegetables, meats, and fish – though often in soft forms.
Diana needs a loving family who can cuddle and care for her and ensure she receives the therapies and medical treatment she needs to thrive!
