DC Event: Naturalista Hair Show

DC Area families: we'd like to let you know of an upcoming event that could be helpful and educational for your child's hair! The Naturalista Hair Show is happening on Aug 2-3 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Details from the event website below:

The second annual show returns with a two-day show Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in downtown Silver Spring at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. This year’s show will feature panel discussions, hands-on classes, product demonstrations, a pop-up salon, vendors and much more.

Our newly-added hands-on classes will teach the basics of cornrows, flat twists, two strand twists and more, providing attendees with guided instructions while using a kinky-haired mannequin in order to practice the styling techniques. These hands-on classes are an additional $5 (sold only on the day of the show) and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
