CNBC: Adoptive Families a “Small But Mighty Group”

A new CNBC article headline reads, “How Parents Foiled a US Republican Tax Proposal to Kill the Adoption Tax Credit”. That headline sums up how passionate adoption parents and adoption advocates across the U.S. are when it comes to making adoption a reality for those called to do so. The National Council for Adoption in Alexandria, VA was instrumental in leading the charge. President & CEO, Chuck Johnson, noted that others joined in such as Focus on the Family, National Right to Life, and Russell Moore.

In 2014, nearly 74,000 families were assisted by the Adoption Tax Credit, according to the IRS. The Tax Credit began in 1998 and thanks to the adoption community, it will remain.

Thanks to all America World families and friends who made their voices heard!
