The Christian Alliance for Orphans has published a thoughtful and well-written analysis of the recent book The Child Catchers authored by Kathryn Joyce. In response to her assertation that the Christian orphan care movement is “religious zealots so desperate to do good that they’d go to almost any extreme to achieve their goals” – CAFO president Jedd Medefind lists what the book leaves out and explains how it misses the heart and true motivation behind the action of Christians worldwide. Without ignoring the constructive criticisms, the response fairly rebuts the book's innacuracies and omissions.
