China Waiting Children Program- Over 100 Placements in 2010
We are excited to share that over 100 waiting children have been matched with America World families from January- June 2010! We are blessed and honored to work with these referrals and see them placed into loving Christian homes. While some of these families are still waiting to travel as they wait for the CCAA approval process, at this time almost 100 families have traveled to China (with both the healthy and waiting children referral programs) to bring their children home. Please join us in praise and thanksgiving for these blessings. Additionally, we request your prayers for God to continue to bring forward families for more waiting children and to be with those families waiting for a referral through the healthy program as that wait time continues to increase.
Congratulations to the 8 families who accepted a referral for a waiting child in the month of June! These referrals were for boys and girls ages 10 months- 8 years old. There continues to be many waiting children referrals available for adoption and the wait time varies depending on a family’s requests. Some families are matched immediately upon entering the program. Families should contact a China Family Coordinator for more information and details on this referral process.
