China Waiting Children- Prayer and Advocacy Alert
At this very moment, hundreds of waiting children from China are waiting for forever families. The following are just a few of the many children of varying ages and special needs who are currently waiting to be matched with a family. Please join us in advocating for a few of the children:
Ø Twins- an active boy and polite girl who are almost 12 years old, who are healthy and one child is a Hepatitis B carrier.
Ø A playful 21 month old girl with cleft lip and palate.
Ø A gentle 13 year old girl with a scar on her leg who needs to be adopted before her 14th birthday next year.
Ø A smiling little boy who is 9 months old has cleft lip and palate and a heart condition.
Ø An adorable 13 month old boy with a finger and toe deformity.
Ø A shy 8 year old boy who is healthy.
Ø A 16 month old girl who loves to dance has a vision impairment in one eye.
Ø An extroverted boy who turned 8 years old yesterday and has a urogenital condition.
To respect confidentiality and protect the personal information for these children, more specific referral information can only be viewed by current America World families however, prospective families can contact a China Family Coordinator at waitingchildren@awaa.org to understand the referral review process and their potential next steps for adopting a child through this program.
As we see the precious photos of these children every day, we are reminded of God’s promise to all of us in John 14:18, “I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you”. We are humbled and thankful for God’s love and trust in His care for these children. Please join us in our fervent prayer and hopeful anticipation that forever families will come forward to bring these children home.
