Update: China Waiting Child, “Ellie”
You may remember cheerful, beautiful, resilient Ellie, whose story we recently shared here:
We have received an update on Ellie along with some captivating videos of her playing, singing, dancing, and reading in English and Chinese! Though Ellie was being fostered as a part of the “Sapling Growth” Care Project, she returned to the orphanage in May of 2018, where she is currently completing 2nd grade. As evidenced by her videos, she is doing very well in school and her scores are reported to be very high. She is described as an open, cheerful little girl who has several good and trusted friends.
Ellie has persevered through some medical challenges, but she is not limited in her everyday activities or her ability to play and participate with the other children. Ellie loves to sing, paint, and read, and she is so precious and engaging to watch! Don’t miss these sweet new videos and please help us find a forever family to cherish this adorable little girl!
