China Waiting Child: Advocating for “Tara”
You may remember a post we shared here in March when we introduced a 12 ½-year-old girl who we call “Tara” on our Waiting Child site.
We continue to pray that God would bring a family forward for her before she ages out of China’s international adoption program at age 14.
We recently learned more about “Tara” and ask that you help us advocate by sharing her story with others.
Fun Facts about Tara:
What do you like to do for fun?
“Tara” likes to play soccer and ride a bicycle. She also likes to help her nannies do some housework at the simulated foster home where she currently lives.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
She shared that she wants to be an astronaut to protect the earth.
What is your favorite color?
“Tara’s” favorite color is red.
Tell us about an accomplishment you are proud of.
Last fall, “Tara” brought several chicks from school. Her nannies helped her put them in a box to be their home. Having the chicks made her very happy. Every day after school she fed them rice and let them out to find worms.
Tara is looking for her forever family to help her reach her full potential. Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through praying, advocating, or inquiring to learn more.
