China Waiting Child: Meet Sweet Little “Sophia”

Sophia is 2½ years old and is described as quiet, cute, and a little shy. She plays together with her caretakers and notices her reflection in a mirror. She understands directions but does not express herself verbally. She enjoys being held and spending time in the sunshine outside.

Sophia was diagnosed with growth delays, Down syndrome, and has repaired congenital heart defects. (VSD and PFO which are generally categorized as minor defects)

Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through praying, advocating, or inquiring to learn more.
