China Waiting Child: Meet Little “Jude”

Jude is a joyous and gentle 2-year-old little boy. His body is strong and he enjoys eating. Jude is always happy to see people and greets them with a bright smile.

This is how one of Jude’s caregivers describes Jude:

“He has a gentle personality and is not self-willed, he does not cry often. He has a ready smile and is so adored. We love him so much. In a word, he is a good boy. Every baby is an angel. We hope that this baby boy will find his father and mother as soon as possible.”

Jude was diagnosed with Down syndrome, a ventricular septal defect and neuromotor development delay. VSD is generally a more minor heart defect due to an abnormal connection between the lower chambers of the heart (ventricles).
