Older Child Adoption: 12-Year-Old, “Bates”

Bates is described as an extroverted, active, sunny 12-year-old boy with a kind and ready smile. He is friendly and warm with teachers and classmates and talks happily with everyone he meets! Bates’ teachers describe him as full of curiosity, always asking good questions, and they praise him for studying so diligently.

Though he suffers from hydrocephalus, it does not influence his quality of life and he is able to manage himself well. Bates is intelligent, polite, and hardworking, and he loves to dance, sing, and play games outside with the other children. His caretakers explain that he is often the dance leader in their holiday event, and he receives lots of praise and compliments for his performances! He is well-loved by all of his caretakers, teachers, and classmates.

Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through praying, advocating, or inquiring to learn more.
