China Waiting Child: Meet Alexander
We want to introduce you to a boy we call “Alexander” who is currently waiting for his forever family! Before we tell you more about this precious boy, check out this video where he is practicing his counting!
Alexander is an active little boy who needs the love and care of a family to help him thrive. He is 6 years, 8 months old. His caretakers note that he enjoys helping with tasks in the classroom, such as moving the benches, passing objects, throwing the trash, etc. Although he has difficulty walking stably, he enjoys doing exercises and insists on doing them daily.
He enjoys reading aloud with his teacher, his favorite toys are blocks and he enjoys all types of food! Alexander has been diagnosed with speech developmental delays and mostly expresses his needs with his gestures and simple sounds. He can throw a ball, build a bridge with toy blocks, identify some shape matches, and can imitate drawing a cross.
Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through praying, advocating, or inquiring to learn more.
