China Adoption: “Adalynn” Eager for a Family

Adalynn gets along with the siblings in her foster family and the children in her class well. She has a shining smile for anyone who crosses her path. She is 9 years old and likes blocks and puzzles, as well as playing games that involve building or listening to music.

Because of her diagnosis of cerebral palsy, she is only able to speak simple sentences but makes up for it with her abundant facial expressions. Her file notes that she has some delays as well as hand/foot differences, but she communicates with her teachers and peers, helps her foster parents with simple household chores, and can walk long distances with the assistance of a walker.

Adalynn is eager to have a family to call her own and would benefit significantly from the loving care and additional therapeutic resources.
