China Program Home Study and Post Placement Report Changes

The China Center for Children’s Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA) has changed the post-placement report requirements and these changes will be effective for families who receive Travel Approvals (TA’s) after August 1, 2011. The changes include adding more reports at 1 months, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years post placement date. The total reports due to the CCCWA will be: 1 month, 6 month, 12 months, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years. The details of the required information to be included in each of these reports will be addressed in the Welcome Back Packet emailed to families one week after they have returned home.  The CCCWA has also indicated additional requirements for information obtained during the home study report for the dossier and these changes are required for any dossier submitted to the CCCWA after October 1, 2011.
