Families Needed for China Waiting Children

If you are considering adoption from China, now is a great time to begin!  Our China team is in need of families who want to begin the adoption process.

More than 4,600 families have brought their children home from China in partnership with America World. Our China team is passionate about caring for orphans in China, finding them forever families, and serving families to bring their children home. Our experienced America World guides in China have navigated the adoption process for our families while in China since 1994, allowing our families to focus on their child during those critical first days.

America World has had a long-standing great reputation with the China Center for Children’s Welfare & Adoption (CCCWA) and authorities there (since 1994). America World’s in-country staff, who also travel with our families during their adoption in China, work directly with the CCCWA and orphanage directors.

Adoption photo listings of China Waiting Children who are ready for international adoption are available to view by visiting our Waiting Children web page. China Waiting Children are children of all ages who have corrected or uncorrected medical needs or even older children (generally 8-13 years) with no known medical needs.

Families with their adoption paperwork completed can also be matched with a child before the children are placed on the Waiting Child pages. Beginning the process can be very helpful.
