4-Year-Old, “Daniel”: Down Syndrome Adoption

Daniel is described as an active, “sunny,” compliant little boy who gets along well with other children and loves to please his caretakers. He accepts simple instructions, enjoys exploring new things, and especially enjoys playing house and sliding down the slide.

Daniel has been diagnosed with Down syndrome and is noted to be able to walk and jump freely, use stairs without help, speak in sentences of 5-10 words, draw with detail, and respond well to questions and directions. He loves playing games, is very fond of his caretakers and classmates, and has a ready smile and sweet disposition!
