Celebrating 1 Year Home: The Mackey Family!
It is a celebration at the Mackey home and we rejoice with them! One year ago, the Mackey family returned home from India with their son. Kayla Mackey shares below:
I can’t believe we came home one year ago. It seems like yesterday, and simultaneously, it seems like he’s always been with us. We are so grateful for the story that God has written for our son and our family.
Our son has radically changed our lives in all the best ways. He has deepened our relationship with our Heavenly Father. He has taught us more about the Gospel. He grew our hearts another full size.
Seeing all the “firsts” through the eyes of a toddler has been a reminder to find joy in even the simplest of things. Our son continues to inspire us and give us new dreams and purposes in life. We love him so much and are so glad that he is HOME.
