AWAA/One Orphan Team Responds to Need in Texas

As we prayerfully considered our response to the need in Texas, a few beautiful things collided and allowed us to quickly endorse a small team of 7 men. They will head to Texas early next week, led by Don Atwood, to partner with the Henderson family. The Henderson family has brought home two beautiful daughters through the AWAA China program. Trent Henderson is the pastor at Heritage Park Baptist Church in Webster, TX and the area surrounding the church sustained major damage and flooding. The Henderson's worked quickly to use their church as a catalyst to mobilize teams and individuals wanting to give and serve. It is exciting to see how the AWAA family is connected from coast to coast as one AWAA dad leaves Oregon to travel and partner with another AWAA family in Texas.
