Coronavirus: America World Stands with Families Waiting to Travel & Bring Their Children Home from China
Recently, America World COO Anna Graham was featured in a USA Today news story highlighting the difficulties families face as they wait to bring their children home from China.
One of our China program families, the Chandlers, were also featured. Beth Chandler shared the following about pursuing their newest daughter “She may not be what the world considers perfect, but to us, she is. To us, she’s already our daughter,” we want to give her a beautiful life and every possible opportunity.”

As the wait for the coronavirus to dissipate continues, America World has established a fund to care for orphaned children who are at considerable risk for contracting the virus. At this time more than $2,000 has been raised by families and individuals who desire to protect and care for vulnerable children in China.
