America World Staff: We are Thankful

It's here. The week of thankfulness. The week of family and gathering and celebrating all that the year has brought us. Here at America World we took a few moments to speak the things we are thankful for and share them with you. If you are an America World family please know that you are at the top of our list. We love and cherish you for the commitement you have made.

I am thankful for the dedicated and passionate staff I get to work alongside every day.  I am also thankful for the families and precious children we get to serve.

I’m so thankful for the  people that I get to work with every single day.  To be surrounded by people that share the same passions and burdens as my own is a gift that I do not take for granted.  The icing on the cake are the volunteers I work with who care just as passionately about orphan care, provision and family preservation as I do. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work!  I am blessed beyond measure and try to remember to be  thankful every day for this amazing organization.

I am truly blessed to work at this wonderful Christian adoption agency with so many wonderful staff and incredible adoptive families. It truly feels like extended family to me. As I reflect on this Thanksgiving season, I’m so thankful for the many families I’ve gotten to know and serve over the years and for every orphan God has placed in a home.  To think of the many children who will now sit around a Thanksgiving table with a family of their own this year, is truly something to be grateful for.
