America World Family Reunion: Vacation Packages Now Available!
We hope your family will plan to join our staff and former staff for the America World Family Reunion and 20th Anniversary Celebration weekend this October! America World has created affordable weekend vacation packages for families of all sizes.
Registration/Check in will begin at 4:00pm on Friday and the festivities will begin at 6:00pm with a casual meet and greet with America World Founders, Brian and Renee Luwis, and the AWAA staff. Friday evening we will kick off the weekend by hosting the 1st Annual AWAA Father/Daughter Ball where fathers can spend the evening with their princesses! A family fun event will be held simultaneously for other families members.
On Saturday at 11:00am, Brian and Renee Luwis are opening their home to host a BBQ for families, staff and former staff. Space is limited for this BBQ so reserve your spots by signing up quickly!
Each vacation package includes two adult tickets to our 20th Anniversary Celebration Gala on Saturday night. We will be celebrating the past 20 years of placing children in Christian homes and casting our vision for the next 20 years. This is an adult only event, and we will keep your kids occupied while you attend the Gala.
On Sunday, join us at McLean Bible Church for worship. Then spend the afternoon sight seeing in Washington, DC and Northern, VA, visiting the National Zoo and/or shopping at Tysons Corner Center I or II. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the metro station and the shopping mall and plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The weekend will be full of ample time for fellowship with other America World adoptive families and staff.
Stay through Monday, October 12th for more fellowship and sightseeing!

We are pleased to offer accommodations through the Sheraton Premiere Tyson’s Hotel in the heart of Tyson’s Corner, VA. Hotel Reservations can be made separately at special AWAA group rate of $90/night + 12% tax. Coming early or staying a day later? We can arrange the same rate for your family one day before, and one day after the weekend. Add breakfast for $10/person per night. Breakfast ordered a la carte is $17.95/person. Or walk to restaurants or grocery for breakfast.
*Reserve a roll-away bed for the fifth person for $10/night or add another room for up to 5 people for the $90/night + 12% tax overnight rate.
