America World Adoption Statement on the Fulton v. Philadelphia Supreme Court Ruling
MCLEAN, VA – America World Adoption’s COO, Anna Graham, released the following statement in reaction to the Fulton v. City of Philadelphia Supreme Court ruling:
“The Supreme Court ruling today is an affirmation of America’s First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and religion. Our organization is one of many who are called to serve families and vulnerable children around the world based on our Biblical beliefs. This ruling supports faith-based adoption organizations and their calling to continue serving families who affirm the same Biblical beliefs. It is a positive step forward in providing equality to all Americans in choosing adoption services based on their religious beliefs. We are grateful to be allowed the space to continue partnering with those who share our mission and purpose of serving vulnerable children and families.”
