Loving Ambassador Child: “Adam” Needs a Family

Adam is an active and energetic 9-year old little boy! His caretakers say that he is talkative and always smiling!

Adam has Down syndrome, though his file states that his physical development has greatly improved in the past year.

Adam attends special education classes, and he loves school and his teacher. He also loves playing with other children and helping with housework.  His caretakers note that he is very dedicated to self-care, and he pays attention to hygiene and loves to be clean.  Adam is very fond of picture books and playing on the playground slide.

A Loving Ambassador team visited Adam in September 2019 and describes him as independent, determined, and observant.  He is attending a special education class at the orphanage, and though he sometimes has a difficult time expressing himself, he understands everything said to him and can imitate really well!  He loves playing with blocks, and the team observed him working on fine motor skills such as holding and writing with his pencil correctly, stringing beads, and sorting objects.
