Holiday Closings
All America World offices will be closed Monday, December 24th – Tuesday, January 1st in honor of Christmas and New Years. America World will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, January 2.

Staff Changes
Laurel Ludwick, who is currently pursuing an MSW degree, has decided that she needs to make some changes for the coming semester so that she can focus more on her school program and upcoming marriage. She has served as Asia Family Coordinator and, more recently, as Ethiopia Family Coordinator and Assistant Ethiopia Program Director. Laurel hasn’t yet decided when her last day will be, as she’s committed to first training the new Africa Program Director.

Duni Zenaye has been serving as Intake Coordinator since July of 2007. Her passion for adoption stems in large part from her Ethiopian heritage, and her desire has been to be specifically involved in adoptions from her native country as well as the African continent. Because of this, she is the ideal candidate for the Africa Program Director position – which she will be moving into in the first few weeks of January 2008.

Because Duni will be vacating the Intake Coordinator position, America World is currently looking to hire a new Intake Coordinator as soon as possible. The Intake Coordinator job description can be found on the Employment Opportunities page on the website.
