Advocate Today: “Freddie” Needs Our Help Sharing His Story
This cutie is a familiar face on the America World Blog. His story has been shared many times and advocated & prayed for by many. We continue to share his story today and we ask that you join us. Another familiar face on our Ethiopia Waiting Child list was recently matched with his forever family. We are believing the same for “Freddie” too!
“Freddie” is a beautiful little boy waiting to be matched with a forever family. He has spent considerable time on the Ethiopia Waiting Child list. His family would need to be prepared to devote special attention and care to “Freddie” as he has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, porencephalic cyst, total corpus callosum agenesis, and optic nerve hypoplasia.
Recently a Storyteller Missions team visited “Freddie” in mid-late 2014 and shared this:
“Freddie loves to smile and laugh! Whenever I would begin massaging his legs, he would begin to sing by opening his mouth and going “Oooh, oooh.” It would make everyone laugh. He is also very ticklish and laughs and laughs when you rub his back just right. I also played music for him and he would turn his head towards the music and listen intently. Freddie is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle in laps.”
Any family who would like more information about “Freddie” and/or how to begin the process to adopt him into your family should contact our Ethiopia staff at Ethiopia@awaa.org or call 800-429-3369. We would love to share more!
