Advocate Today, Ethiopia: 5-Year Old, “Lillyana”
“Lillyana” is a sweet little girl in need of her forever family. She’s been living at America World’s transition home for years. Would you share her story to help her find her forever family?
“Lillyana” enjoys walks around the transition home and being placed on the exercise ball! She also likes to sit up or stand while getting her hair braided by the nannies. She has an affectionate smile that shines through when she's excited. If provided with the proper therapies (i.e., physical, occupational, and speech), Lillyana has a lot of potential to succeed physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Though “Lillyana” has a seizure disorder, her seizures have been well controlled on medication for several years. Its is also noted that she has Spastic Quadriparesis though she does have some movement of her limbs.
Any family who would like more information about “Lillyana” and/or how to begin the process to adopt her into your family should contact our Ethiopia staff at Ethiopia@awaa.org or call 800-429-3369. We would love to share more!
