Advocate Today: 22-Month Old, “Troy”
Troy recently was added to the America World Waiting Children pages. His primary medical need is an eye/vision impairment. Testing has shown that he has small corneal and bilateral congenital iris coloboma. He has not had any surgeries but would likely need surgery in the future.
Troy is able to stand and can walk with assistance. He likes to clap his hands and loves to be held by his nannies.
Troy's file is from one of our orphanage partnerships and is designated as Special Focus so a family at any stage of the adoption process is eligible to review his file.
America World in-process families who are interested in adopting Troy into their family should contact their Family Coordinator about him.
Families not currently in the process of adopting with America World should fill out a quick & simple free PRE-APPLICATION and our Intake staff will follow up with you right away.
Any questions about Troy, or any Waiting Child, can be directed to our China staff at WaitingChildren@awaa.org or 800-429-2269.
