Adopted College Student Returns to India for First Time
After 20 years of helping to build Christian families according to God's design of adoption, many of the children adopted in the early years of America World are becoming adults and leaving for college or starting careers. Some have had the opportunity to return to their adoptive country to experience the culture, language, and traditions.
A Penn State News article recounts the story of Sarita Lidel, a Penn State junior psychology major, and her acceptance into an international study tour to India. Sarita was adopted from India at 10 months and had never returned to India to visit her roots until this study tour. You will want to read Sarita's story!
