As we enter the Season of Hope, help us speak up for Adam!

You may remember happy, energetic Adam, who always has a smile on his sweet face and who’s story we shared here!  One of our Loving Ambassador teams had the privilege of meeting Adam in person, and a team member shared some memories of her time with Adam:

“Adam is a healthy, energetic little boy who is eager to please! He enjoyed having his picture made or taking selfies on a phone and would willingly flash his adorable grin for each picture. Our time together was short but packed with fun. And where the fun was, that is where Adam wanted to be! He enjoyed our big parachute and the games we played. He would run under and hide or quickly get to the other side…all with a big smile on his face. He also enjoyed time sitting at the table and showing us that he was able to write characters and string beads.  He was very observant and would try to imitate our actions. We were told he attends school at the orphanage and that he enjoys school and understands and responds well to directions. I can just see him learning so much more and having lots of fun, all while being loved in his forever family.”

Adam still waits for a family, and we’d like to re-introduce him and share his story in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Please take a moment to learn a little more about this precious 11-year-old boy and consider how you might be able to help in bringing him home to his forever family!
